Board Or Committee Membership

Board or committee membership is the most active way to be involved. We host and participate in many events in our community. The Executive Board is restricted to 21 members, they are the leadership of Young Greenville. All members of the Executive Board serve on committees. It is possible to still get involved in planning events, doing community outreach, fundraising, political work, and so more by joining a committee. The Executive Board has committees that perform many of the things mentioned above. The best part is that anyone may join one of these committees as a Non-Voting General Member.

How to Join:

If you are interested in joining Young Greenville your first step would be to reach out to one of our officers. There are many different ways to get involved, however the best first steps would be to arrange to come out to one of our events. While there we can find out more about your interests and find ways for you to get involved. We also have information on the different types of members below. If you would like to join just fill out the membership application further down the page. Or click HERE to jump right to it!

Executive Board

The executive board is made up of 21 members. Executive board seats require an application and are voted on by current board members. The executive board also elects 4 officer positions on an annual basis. The board has the responsibility of guiding the organization by leading committees and voting on business items.

General Members

General Membership (GMs) does not require an application like being on the Executive Board. GMs show up to our various events and volunteer opportunities. You can show up to as many or only a few events a year to be considered a GM. This is a great place to start with Young Greenville and see where you want to grow from there. You can also join a committee as a non-voting member!
